About Me
I am pursing PhD in Mechanical Engineering at UIUC. My research focuses on the development of novel gradient-structured nickel-based shape memory alloys for elastocaloric refrigeration technologies in spaceflight applications. I have prior research experience in pure copper processing and thermo-mechanical characterization, tribological behavior of Cu-alloy gears under dry and lubricated conditions, and mechanical properties evaluation of modified natural fiber-reinforced composites. During my tenure as a Lecturer at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, MIST, I have contributed to three research projects in the field of materials processing and characterization, polymer composites, and biomaterials.
Research Interests: Shape Memory Alloy, Heat Transfer, Advanced Manufacturing
Skills: SEM, FIB-Milling, EBSD, Confocal Microscopy, DSC, DIC, XRD
